The Gaunt Stranger (sh. Mršavi neznanac) je britanski crno-bijeli kriminalistički triler film snimljen u režiji Waltera Fordea i premijerno prikazan početkom 1939. godine. Predstavlja jednu od nekoliko adaptacija istoimenog romana Edgara Wallacea, koga je Forde također bio režirao 1931. godine pod naslovom The Ringer. Radnja prikazuje kako policija pokušava zaustaviti zloglasnog ubicu koji se pod novim identitetom vraća iz Australije kako bi se osvetio ljudima koji su mu se zamjerili.
