Saraband for Dead Lovers (sh. Sarabanda za mrtve ljubavnike) je britanski historijski film snimljen 1948. godine u režiji Basila Deardena. Predstavlja adaptaciju istoimenog romana Helen Simpson, inspiriranog stvarnim događajima koji su se krajem 17. vijeka zbili u Kneževina Hanover u Njemačkoj. Protagonistica, čiji lik tuimači Joan Greenwood, je Sophie Dorothea, supruga princa Georga Luisa (čiji lik tumači Peter Bull) koja se osjeća zarobljena u političkom braku bez iskrenih osjećaja. Radnja prikazuje kako utjehu pronalazi u privlačnom švedskom aristokratu grofu Philipu Konigsmarku te sa njim započinje ljubavnu vezu koja će tragično završiti.

Saraband je predstavljao jedan od ambicioznijih projekata britanskog studija Ealing; osim što je snimljen u tada još uvijek skupom filmu u boji, u njega je uložen veliki trud za rekontsrukciju daleke prošlosti, te je kasnije bio nominiran za Oscar za najbolju scenografiju. Kasniji kritičari su tvrdili da je, u odnosu na slična ostvarenja, uključujući tzv. Gainsborough melodrame, iskazao daleko više brige za autentični (i u pravilu manje romantični) prikaz historije.[2]
