John Charlton Polkinghorne, KBE FRS (lahir 16 Oktober 1930) adalah seorang fisikawan teoretikal, teolog, penulis dan imam Anglikan asal Inggris. Sebagai penyuara utama dan berpengaruh yang menjelaskan hubungan antara agama dan sains, ia merupakan profesor fisika matematika di Universitas Cambridge dari 1968 sampai 1979, saat ia mengundurkan diri dari jabatannya untuk belajar imamat dan menjadi imam Anglikan pada 1982. Ia menjabat sebagai presiden Queens' College, Cambridge dari 1988 sampai 1996.
