Born of the Flickering – pierwszy album studyjny norweskiego zespołu muzycznego Old Man’s Child. Wydawnictwo ukazało się 1996 roku nakładem wytwórni muzycznej Hot Records.

Nagrania zostały zarejestrowane pomiędzy listopadem, a grudniem 1995 roku w norweskim Studio 3. Gościnnie w nagraniach wzięła udział wokalista Toril Snyen, znana z występów w zespole Funeral[3].

8 grudnia 2003 roku album został wydany na płycie gramofonowej jako część boxu pt. The Historical Plague[4].
