『ザ・ビッグ・エキスプレス』 (原題: The Big Express)は、1984年にヴァージン・レーベルからリリースされた XTCの7枚目のアルバム。レコーディングは1984年春にバースのクレセント・スタジオ (Crescent Studios)で行われた。前作に比べると、エッジの効いた音作りになっている。当時発売されたリン・ドラムをふんだんに使用したアルバムであり、そのプログラミングにかなりの時間を要したという。

初回プレスと復刻版CDは車輪を型取った円形ジャケットであった。ジャケットの蒸気機関車の動輪は、XTCの地元、スィンドンにある鉄道博物館で撮影された。
