Uri Avnery (Ibrani: אורי אבנרי, juga ditransliterasikan menjadi Uri Avneri; 10 September 1923 – 20 Agustus 2018) adalah seorang politikus, penulis dan pendiri gerakan perdamaian Gush asal Israel. Seorang anggota dari Irgun pada masa remaja, Avnery menjalani dua masa jabatan dalam Knesset dari 1965 sampai 1974 dan dari 1979 sampai 1981.[1] Ia juga merupakan pemilik majalah berita HaOlam HaZeh dari 1950 sampai ditutup pada 1993.

Ia dikenal karena melintasi batas pada Pengepungan Beirut untuk bertemu Yassir Arafat pada 3 Juli 1982, pertama kalinya seorang pemimpin Palestina bertemu dengan orang Israel. Avnery merupakan penulis banyak buku soal konflik Israel-Palestina, yang meliputi 1948: A Soldier's Tale, the Bloody Road to Jerusalem (2008); Israel's Vicious Circle (2008); dan My Friend, the Enemy (1986).[2][3][4]
