Rumania pada Perang Dunia II

Setelah pecahnya Perang Dunia II pada 1 September 1939, Kerajaan Rumania di bawah Raja Carol II resmi mengadopsi posisi netralitas. Namun, keadaan cepat berubah di Eropa pada 1940, serta kebangkitan politik domestik, mengurungkan pendirian ini. Pasukan politik fasis seperti Garda Besi makin populer dan berkuasa, bersekutu dengan Jerman Nazi dan para sekutunya.
