Pendidikan di Korea Selatan disediakan oleh sekolah negeri dan sekolah swasta. Kedua jenis sekolah tersebut menerima dana dari pemerintah, meskipun jumlah yang diterima sekolah swasta lebih kecil dibandingkan sekolah negeri.[8]
