Pandangan dunia

Pandangan dunia atau pandangan hidup adalah orientasi kognitif mendasar suatu individu atau masyarakat yang mencakup seluruh pengetahuan dan sudut pandang individu atau masyarakat, termasuk filsafat alami; anggapan fundamental, eksistensial, dan normatif; atau tema, nilai, emosi, dan etika.[1] Kata ini merupakan calque dari bahasa Jerman Weltanschauung [ˈvɛlt.ʔanˌʃaʊ.ʊŋ] ⓘ yang terdiri dari Welt ('dunia') dan Anschauung ('pandangan').[2] Ini adaha konsep dasar filsafat dan epistemologi Jerman dan mengacu pada persepsi dunia luas. Selain itu, kata ini mengacu pada kerangak kerja ide dan kepercayaan ketika suatu individu, kelompok, atau budaya menafsirkan dunia dan berinteraksi dengannya.
