Lagu-lagu Gaye di Motown termasuk "Ain't That Peculiar", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)", dan "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", serta rekaman duet dengan Mary Wells, Kim Weston, Diana Ross, dan Tammi Terrell .
