Lovis Corinth (21 Juli 1858 – 17 Juli 1925) adalah seorang seniman dan penulis Jerman yang karyanya matang sebagai pelukis dan printmaker mewujudkan sintesis impresionisme dan ekspresionisme.

Korintus belajar di Paris dan Munich, bergabung dengan grup Berlin Secession, kemudian menggantikan Max Liebermann sebagai presiden grup. Karya awalnya adalah naturalistik dalam pendekatan. Korintus pada awalnya menentang gerakan ekspresionis, tetapi setelah stroke pada tahun 1911 gayanya melonggar dan mengambil banyak kualitas ekspresionis. Penggunaan warna menjadi lebih hidup, dan dia menciptakan potret dan pemandangan dengan vitalitas dan kekuatan yang luar biasa. Pokok bahasan Korintus juga termasuk adegan telanjang dan alkitabiah.^[1][2]
