Virgil Ivan "Gus" Grissom (3 April 1926 – 27 Januari 1967) adalah salah satu dari tujuh antariksawan Project Mercury asli dari National Aeronautics and Space Administration, dan orang pertama dari Mercury Seven yang wafat. Ia juga merupakan antariksawan Project Gemini dan program Apollo. Grissom adalah orang Amerika kedua yang terbang di luar angkasa, dan anggota pertama NASA Astronaut Corps yang terbang ke luar angkasa sebanyak dua kali. Selain itu, Grissom merupakan veteran Perang Dunia II dan Perang Korea, pilot uji coba Angkatan Udara Amerika Serikat dan insinyur mekanik.
