Charles Taylor (filsuf)

Charles Margrave Taylor CC GOQ FBA FRSC (lahir 5 November 1931) adalah seorang filsuf Kanada dari Montreal, Quebec, dan profesor emeritus di McGill University yang dikenal karena kontribusinya pada filsafat politik, filsafat ilmu sosial, sejarah filsafat dan sejarah intelektual. Karyanya membuatnya meraih Penghargaan Kyoto, Penghargaan Templeton, Penghargaan Berggruen untuk Filsafat, dan Penghargaan John W. Kluge, selain meraih pujian dari para filsuf.

Pada 2007, Taylor menjabat dengan Gérard Bouchard pada Komisi Bouchard-Taylor yang menangani akomodasi beralasan dengan menghargai perbedaan budaya di provinsi Quebec. Ia mempraktikkan Katolik Roma.
