Aliyah Bet

Aliyah Bet (Ibrani: 'עלייה ב), berarti "Aliyah 'B'" (bet adalah huruf kedua dalam aksara Ibrani) adalah nama yang diberikan untuk imigrasi ilegal bangsa Yahudi ke Palestina pada tahun 1934-1948. Di Israel modern, Aliyah Bet disebut sebagai Ha'apala (Ibrani: ההעפלה).

Istilah ini berbeda dengan Aliyah Aleph ("Aliyah 'A'") (Aleph adalah huruf pertama aksara Ibrani): imigrasi Yahudi terbatas yang diperbolehkan oleh pemerintah Britania pada periode yang sama.
