Actors Studio adalah sebuah organisasi keanggotaan untuk para aktor profesional, sutradara teater dan pengarang drama di 432 West 44th Street, kawasan Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, New York City. Organisasi tersebut didirikan pada 5 Oktober 1947, oleh Elia Kazan, Cheryl Crawford dan Robert Lewis dan Anna Sokolow, yang memberikan pelatihan bagi para aktor yang menjadi anggotanya.^[1] Lee Strasberg kemudian ikut bergabung dan menetap pada 1951 sampai ia wafat pada 17 Februari 1982. Organisasi tersebut sekarang dijalankan oleh Al Pacino, Ellen Burstyn, dan Harvey Keitel. Studio tersebut dikenal karena karyanya dalam menyempurnakan dan mengajarkan metode akting. Usulan tersebut awalnya dikembangkan oleh Group Theatre pada 1930an berdasarkan pada inovasi Konstantin Stanislavski. Saat di Studio tersebut, para aktor bekerjasama untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam lingkungan pribadi dimana mereka dapat mengambil risiko sebagai penampil tanpa peran komersial.
