Varennes-le-Grand (French pronunciation: [vaʁɛn ɡʁɑ̃]) is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France.

Geography

The Grosne forms most of the commune's southeastern border. The Saône forms the commune's northeastern border.
