Sviny is a municipality and village in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.

Sviny lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) south of Tábor, 27 km (17 mi) north-east of České Budějovice, and 102 km (63 mi) south of Prague.
