On 24 Jun 1623, he was consecrated bishop by Ottavio Bandini, Cardinal-Bishop of Palestrina, with Alfonso Gonzaga, Titular Archbishop of Rhodus, and Federico Baldissera Bartolomeo Cornaro, Bishop of Bergamo, serving as co-consecrators.[1][2]
