Chapit-e Sofla (Persian: چاپيت سفلي)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Tarhan-e Gharbi Rural District of Tarhan District, Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.^[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,104 in 221 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 955 people in 218 households.^[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 713 people in 203 households.^[2]
