Chapit-e Sofla (Persian: چاپيت سفلي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Tarhan-e Gharbi Rural District of Tarhan District, Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,104 in 221 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 955 people in 218 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 713 people in 203 households.[2]
