Astaneh (Persian: آستانه)[a] is a city in the Central District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 6,969 in 1,941 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 6,880 people in 2,149 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 7,166 people in 2,427 households.[2]
